This plugin for RPG Maker MZ allows you to highly customize the map name window of the engine. There are different display modes which vary in complexety. You can set completely different names for maps than those you define in the editor, allowing for changing the name of a map during the game.
You can also call any uniquely set up map name window at any point of the game and use it however you see fit. For example, you could use it as a splash screen for introducing battles or a chapter, or for showing off animated bits during cutscenes.
Most of the settings can be changed during the game. However you can not change the window mode on the fly. This is to avoid having to fill out every single preset.
This plugin was written as a standalone. In general there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues if you don’t use other plugins related to the map name window. I can not guarantee that it will work in all cases. If you wish to use this plugin it’s at your own “risk”.
This Plugin runs on the RPG Maker Core Version 1.2.1
